Radar Parking Mode with Built-in Radar
Radar Parking Mode uses low-power front and rear radars to monitor motion, ensuring extended parking surveillance with minimal power consumption. When the radar detects movement in the selected range, the dash cam "wakes up" from a low-power state and records a 20-second video clip.

Parking Surveillance
Automatically activates when you turn off the ignition, capturing footage to provide video evidence of any incidents, such as hit-and-runs, while your vehicle is parked.
*Requires an optional hardwiring cable accessory and installation (professional installation recommended) or a THINKWARE OBD II cable accessory
Smart Parking Mode
Automatically switches to low-power mode in high temperatures, recording impacts only until normal Parking mode can resume.
Time Lapse
Records at 2 frames per second (fps), enabling the dash cam to capture long durations of continuous footage while keeping power consumption low.
Energy Saving
Conserves power by recording only when impacts are detected, allowing the dash cam to stay in Parking mode for extended periods.
Motion & Impact Detection
Automatically triggers a 20-second recording when motion or impact is detected, capturing 10 seconds before and after the event.
Easy Wi-Fi Device Pairing

Dual-band Wi-Fi
Enjoy the best connectivity in any environment with the U3000’s dual-band Wi-Fi. Your iOS or Android smartphone can be connected to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bandwidth for faster file transfers.
THINKWARE CONNECTED
Receive impact notifications or monitor remotely what’s happening around your vehicle via your smartphone with the THINKWARE CONNECTED app.
1. Connecting the dash cam to a mobile hotspot device or a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will consume data. Carrier/Service Provider charges may apply.
2. The smartphone used to set up the Internet connection on the dash cam cannot also be used as a mobile hotspot for the dash cam. A different hotspot device/smartphone is required.
3. To connect the dash cam to the internet, use the Thinkware Dash Cam Link App. Once the dash cam is connected to the internet, you can go to the Thinkware CONNECTED app to get access to CONNECTED features.
Strong Impact Notifications
A serious impact stronger than 3G will trigger a push notification to the Thinkware CONNECTED app and send an emergency message to your registered contact.
Impact Notification when Parked
If an impact is detected while the car is parked, the app will receive a notification automatically.
Send Emergency Message
In emergency situations, when you are unable to reach the phone, pressing the REC button on the dash cam for more than 3 secs will send an emergency message to your registered contact.

Superb dash cam
Pretty easy to install. All of my pics are from before stowing the cables behind and underneath panels. The kit comes with a panel tool for prying and popping them up. The app is easy to use. The picture is excellent – 4k in the front, 2k in the rear. It comes with a cable that plugs into the OBD port (easy to find) under the dash (shown in picture) so it doesn’t need the cigarette lighter power ports. Great quality. Easy to install. Easy use. Great buy.
