This enhanced technology ensures exceptional video quality, while the adjustable bitrate feature allows you to capture footage with greater precision and detail.
Wide Dynamic Range
Enhances image clarity by adjusting color balance in bright or shadowed environments.
Smart Auto-Exposure
Automatically adjusts exposure for clear footage in bright sunlight or headlight glare.
Dewarping Technology
Minimizes image distortion typically caused by a wide angle lens, and delivers a close-to-real image of the world.
Super Night Vision 4.0
Super Night Vision 4.0 takes advantage of Sony STARVIS 2’s advances in high sensitivity and low noise technology to help the U3000 capture clearer footage in low-light conditions.
Radar Parking Mode with Built-in Radar
Radar Parking Mode uses low-power front and rear radars to monitor motion, ensuring extended parking surveillance with minimal power consumption. When the radar detects movement in the selected range, the dash cam "wakes up" from a low-power state and records a 20-second video clip.
*Requires hardwiring or the OBD-II cable
Parking Surveillance
Automatically activates when you turn off the ignition, capturing footage to provide video evidence of any incidents, such as hit-and-runs, while your vehicle is parked.
*Requires installation of a hardwiring cable or OBD II power cable
Smart Parking Mode
Prevents heat-related damage by automatically switching the dash cam to low-power mode if the vehicle’s interior temperature rises excessively during Parking Mode.
Time Lapse
Records at 2 frames per second (fps), enabling the dash cam to capture long durations of continuous footage while keeping power consumption low.
Energy Saving
Conserves power by recording only when impacts are detected, allowing the dash cam to stay in Parking mode for extended periods.
Motion & Impact Detection
Automatically triggers a 20-second recording when motion or impact is detected, capturing 10 seconds before and after the event.
Easy Wi-Fi Device Pairing
Effortlessly pair your dash cam with any compatible Android or iOS device using the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK app. Once connected, you can easily adjust settings, replay footage, and download your latest driving videos on the go.
Dual-band Wi-Fi
Enjoy the best connectivity in any environment with the U3000’s dual-band Wi-Fi. Your iOS or Android smartphone can be connected to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bandwidth for faster file transfers.
THINKWARE CONNECTED
Receive impact notifications or monitor remotely what’s happening around your vehicle via your smartphone with the THINKWARE CONNECTED app.
1. Connecting the dash cam to a mobile hotspot device or a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will consume data. Carrier/Service Provider charges may apply.
2. The smartphone used to set up the Internet connection on the dash cam cannot also be used as a mobile hotspot for the dash cam. A different hotspot device/smartphone is required.
3. To connect the dash cam to the internet, use the THINKWARE Dash Cam Link App. Once the dash cam is connected to the internet, you can go to the THINKWARE CONNECTED app to get access to CONNECTED features.
Strong Impact Notifications
A serious impact stronger than 3G will trigger a push notification to the Thinkware CONNECTED app and send an emergency message to your registered contact.
Impact Notification when Parked
If an impact is detected while the car is parked, the app will receive a notification automatically.
Send Emergency Message
In emergency situations, when you are unable to reach the phone, pressing the REC button on the dash cam for more than 3 secs will send an emergency message to your registered contact.
Remote Live View
Check what is happening around your vehicle in real time, no matter where you are.
Vehicle Status & Driving History
Find important information such as the location of your vehicle, whether it's parked or driving, your route history and driving behavior, current vehicle battery voltage, and more—all from the app.
Captured Image of Most Recent Parking
You can check the images of your front and rear view cameras of where you last parked, so you won’t have to remember where you parked your vehicle.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
A suite of features designed to enhance driving safety by reducing the risk of collisions and mitigating injury severity. These systems provide real-time audio alerts to help keep you aware of potential hazards on the road.
Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)

Superb dash cam
Pretty easy to install. All of my pics are from before stowing the cables behind and underneath panels. The kit comes with a panel tool for prying and popping them up. The app is easy to use. The picture is excellent – 4k in the front, 2k in the rear. It comes with a cable that plugs into the OBD port (easy to find) under the dash (shown in picture) so it doesn’t need the cigarette lighter power ports. Great quality. Easy to install. Easy use. Great buy.

The Rolls Royce of dashcams
Money talks, and this dashcam is what you get when budget is not one of your constraints. It’s like having an iPhone for a dashcam. No power outlet? OBD cable included. Sun too hot? Heat reflective film included. The attention to detail is truly on another level with this camera. They really thought it all through.
Truly a different kind of a dashcam.

Clear view
This dash cam is excellent! The video quality is super clear, even at night. It was very easy to set up myself in just a few minutes. I really like the loop recording feature and the reliable parking mode, which gives me great peace of mind. The mobile app is simple to use for viewing and saving clips. For the price, this is an outstanding value. Highly recommended for any driver!
