Radar Parking Mode with Built-in Radar
Radar Parking Mode uses low-power front and rear radars to monitor motion, ensuring extended parking surveillance with minimal power consumption. When the radar detects movement in the selected range, the dash cam "wakes up" from a low-power state and records a 20-second video clip.

Parking Surveillance
Automatically activates when you turn off the ignition, capturing footage to provide video evidence of any incidents, such as hit-and-runs, while your vehicle is parked.

THINKWARE CONNECTED
Receive impact notifications or monitor remotely what’s happening around your vehicle via your smartphone with the THINKWARE CONNECTED app.
1. Connecting the dash cam to a mobile hotspot device or a Wi-Fi network with Internet access will consume data. Carrier/Service Provider charges may apply.
2. The smartphone used to set up the Internet connection on the dash cam cannot also be used as a mobile hotspot for the dash cam. A different hotspot device/smartphone is required.
3. To connect the dash cam to the internet, use the THINKWARE Dash Cam Link App. Once the dash cam is connected to the internet, you can go to the THINKWARE CONNECTED app to get access to CONNECTED features.

A serious impact stronger than 3G will trigger a push notification to the Thinkware CONNECTED app and send an emergency message to your registered contact.
Impact Notification when Parked
If an impact is detected while the car is parked, the app will receive a notification automatically.

Good for protecting yourself
Great for protecting yourself on a roadtrip if an accident occurs. The only reason I have it 4/5 stars is that i wish it would be better at recording cool things i drive through/by. It automatically records when a large bump occurs, so either a pothole or a speed bump, etc. When it records, it does 30 seconds before the “bump” and 30 seconds after. So only one minute total, but that should be perfect for an accident.

Works similar to the U1000, 2 new apps needed
U3000 connects to the iPhone much better than U1000. U3000 needs 2 apps and can be a bit of a hassle to set up. But once done, works well. MAC Software on the App store doesn’t work or doesn’t work well, so remember to use the software on the SD card (works best) and don’t format it! The Ultra Low Power Saving mode takes time to get used to. Hotspot connection and alerts works fine. Happy with purchase.

Highly recommend the U3000 front and rear dash cam
The U3000 provides high quality videos both front and rear. It is easy to install and setup. The support for THINKWARE is excellent as well. My only suggestions are to improve the apps to be easier to manage and view events.

The only thing that would be better is if there was a green on the unit itself. All setting and videos have to be done through your phone
