Description
Increase the duration of the Parking Surveillance mode of your THINKWARE Dash Cam with the iVolt Mini External Battery [BAB-50].
- Allows dash cam to remain in Parking mode for up to 20 hours, or 16 hours with a rear cam added
- Fully recharged in 45 minutes while driving.
Compatible with all THINKWARE Dash Cam models.
The External Battery requires Hardwiring Cable (sold separately) installation. Hardwiring Cable is included in some dash cam bundles. Please check when purchasing.
If 12V Power Outlet charging is preferred, select the optional Input Cable (12V Charging Cable *sold separately).
Note: Please make sure to use the 12V Input cable on LOW setting to power the iVolt Mini. Using it on HIGH setting may cause damage.

The iVolt Mini Battery Pack is a hardwired product. It is connected to the Fuse Box directly, to charge while driving.

A good idea save your vehicle battery could be a little bet cheaper though!
This is the only way to operate the parking mode without destroying your car battery easy install
I ended up returning the external battery; I misunderstood the in installation requirements and my installer didn’t need it. But I cannot say enough good things about my Q800 pro and the excellent/responsive customer service provided by this company. It’s a rare find these days.
you don’t really notice that you have a battery but the installer with another brand dash cam said that he wished he had this as his dash cam drains his battery
